Organization

The Union is made up of base units, divisions based on sector of activity or region, a General Council and an Executive Committee.

UNION CONVENTION

The Convention is the Union’s supreme decision-making body.

UNION GENERAL COUNCIL

  • The General Council is the Union’s decision-making body between conventions.
  • The General Council is made up, in principle, of the members of the union Executive Committee and the presidents, or authorized representatives, of the base units, as well as representatives elected by groups of institutions with 25 members or fewer.

UNION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

  • The union Executive Committee governs the Union between meetings of the General Council.
  • The union Executive Committee is made up of the President, the Secretary-general, the Vice-president of Communications and Regional Affairs, the Vice-president of Member Services, and the presidents and vice-presidents of the various sectors and regions.
